당진시-대한전선, '장애인 스포츠 선수' 고용 증진 협약 맺어

충남 당진시(시장 오성환)가 대한전선과 함께 장애인 스포츠 선수들의 고용 확대 및 훈련 환경 개선에 나섰다.

당진시는 20일, 대한전선이 지역 장애인 스포츠 선수 23명을 채용하기로 약속했다고 밝혔다. 이는 지난 18일 당진시청에서 열린 장애인체육회와의 '장애인 스포츠 선수 고용 증진을 위한 협약식'에서 공식화됐다.

이번 협약식에는 송종민 대한전선 대표이사를 비롯해 당진시와 장애인체육회 관계자들이 참석해 장애인 선수들이 안정적으로 운동에 전념할 수 있는 환경을 마련하기 위해 협력하기로 합의했다.

송종민 대표는 “장애인 스포츠 선수들이 우수한 체육 인재로 성장하고 꿈을 실현할 수 있도록 더 나은 환경을 만들어 갈 것”이라고 말했다.
