[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 경남도의 2024년 지역건설업체 수주지원실적 평가에서 18개 시·군 1위로 선정돼 특별조정교부금 2억5,000만원을 확보했다고 23일 밝혔다.
경남도는 △경남지역 건설업체 하도급률 △하도급기동팀 운영실적 △지역업체 참여비율 등 반영한 조례 개정과 시행 △하도급관리·MOU 체결과 서한문 발송 △경남도 시책 협조 등을 종합적으로 평가했다. 김해시는 지역건설산업 활성화를 위해 적극 나서 높은 평가를 받았다.
김해시는 지난해도 하도급 수주지원 우수 지자체로 선정돼 교부금 1억5,000만원을 확보해 2년 연속 수상의 영광을 안았다.
홍태용 시장은 올해 초부터 정책컨퍼런스 회의, 분기별 하도급률 점검회의 등에서 공사현장의 지역업체 사용을 지속적으로 독려했으며 특히 김해시는 매월 간부공무원이 직접 하도급률을 점검하고 있다.
김해시는 하도급관리팀을 조직·전담하여 건설현장뿐만 아니라 시공사, 공공기관 본사 등을 방문해 지역업체 홍보, 공사참여 확대를 지속적으로 건의해 왔으며 지역 건설사와 소상공인 보호를 위해 민관 합동 하도급기동팀 활동을 적극적으로 펼쳤다.
이외에도 건설간담회 실시, 시장 서한문 발송, 전국 기초지자체 최초 하도급지급보증 수수료 지원사업 등을 실시해 적극 지원했다.
김해시는 올해 성과에 만족하지 않고 2025년에도 지역 건설산업 활성화를 위해 용적률 인센티브 제도화, 공공공사 계약 전 본사 방문 의무화. 하도급 유공 건설인 포상 등의 제도 개선과 다양한 신규시책을 추진할 방침이다.
홍태용 시장은 “이번 우수한 평가는 지역경제 활성화 시책을 적극적으로 추진한 결과”라며 “앞으로도 지역업체 하도급 참여율을 높이고 건설경기를 활성화헤 지역경제의 버팀목으로 자리할 수 있게 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
