한덕수 대통령 권한대행 국무총리가 24일 "헌법·법률에 따라 한치 기울어짐 없이 이뤄졌다고 국민 대다수가 납득해야 한다"며 여야 간 특검법·헌법재판관 타협안 마련을 국회에 요청했다.
한 권한대행은 이날 오전 서울 종로구 정부서울청사에서 주재한 제58회 국무회의에서 내란·김건희 여사 특검법·헌법재판관 임명 문제 관련해 "여야가 타협안을 토론하고 협상하는 것부터 시작해야 한다"며 "헌법·법률에 부합하는 해법을 마련해달라"고 국회에 이같이 주문했다.
그러면서 "특검법 처리·헌법재판관 임명처럼 법리 해석·정치적 견해가 충돌하는 현안을 현명하게 처리하기 위해선 뭣보다 여야가 머리를 맞대야 한다"며 "수사하는 쪽과 받는 쪽 모두 공평하다 수긍할 수 있는 법의 틀을 만들어내기 위해 여야가 노력하지 않으면 대한민국에 지금보다 한층 심한 불신·증오가 자라날 위험이 크다"고 우려를 표했다.
