충남 금산군은 2024년 한 해 동안 복지사각지대 해소를 목표로 생활보장위원회를 22차례 개최하며, 기초생활보장과 긴급지원 대상자 지원에 적극 나섰다고 31일 밝혔다.
금산군 생활보장위원회는 국민기초생활보장법에 따라 사회보장 관련 학식과 경험이 있는 사회복지 전문가, 공익을 대표하는 위원, 관계 공무원 등 총 8명으로 구성되어 지역 내 사회복지 안전망 강화를 위해 활동하고 있다.
올해 위원회는 기초생활보장 수급 대상자 121가구 151명과 긴급지원 대상자 170가구 277명에 대한 지원을 의결하며 주민들에게 실질적인 도움을 제공했다.
위원회에서는 가족 해체로 인한 부양의무자의 책임 회피, 사실혼 관계 해소, 재산 산정 제외 항목 등 다양한 사안을 논의했다. 또한, 긴급지원과 관련해 지원 적정성, 지원 기간 연장, 기준 초과자에 대한 환수 조치 등도 심도 있게 검토했다.
