부여군이 최근 사회적 문제로 떠오르고 있는 방치된 빈집 문제 해결에 나섰다. 군은 흉물로 방치된 빈집을 '특정빈집'으로 지정하고, 행정지도를 통해 주민 피해를 최소화할 계획이라고 30일 밝혔다.
군에 따르면, 지난해부터 규암면에 위치한 한 빈집에서 악취와 쓰레기 문제가 발생해 주민들의 민원이 끊이지 않았으며, 이에 해당 빈집 소유자에게 행정관청이 직접 철거를 권고했으나, 소유자가 이를 거부하면서 문제가 장기화되어 왔다.
