대통령경호처가 3일 고위공직자범죄수사처(공수처)의 윤석열 대통령에 대한 체포영장 집행 시도 관련해 "법적 근거 없는 무단 침입으로 반드시 책임을 물을 것"이라고 밝혔다.
경호처는 이날 오후 언론 공지에서 "공수처·국가수사본부가 법적 근거도 없이 경찰 기동대를 동원해 경호구역·군사 기밀 시설을 시설장 허가 없이 출입문을 부수고 심지어 근무자에 부상을 일으키며 무단 침입한 데 대해 매우 유감스럽게 생각한다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그러면서 "불법 행위를 자행한 책임자·관련자에 대해 법적 조치를 통해 반드시 책임을 물을 것"이라며 "역대 모든 정부에서 그래왔듯 앞으로도 법·원칙에 따라 경호 대상자에 대한 경호 임무에 만전을 기하겠다"고 덧붙였다.
앞서 공수처는 이날 오전 경찰 지원을 받아 윤 대통령 체포영장 집행을 시도했으나 경호처 등 저지에 막혀 이날 오후 영장 집행을 중지한 가운데 체포영장 유효기간은 오는 6일까지다.
