[브레이크뉴스=주윤한기자] 거창군은 5일 대설주의보 발효에 따라 비상근무 1단계를 발령하고 관내 주요 도로와 마을안길에서 거창군 재직공무원의 절반에 해당하는 300여명을 비상소집해 선제적으로 제설작업을 시행했다.

대설주의보는 1월 5일 12시 40분, 경상남도 함양, 거창을 대상으로 발표됐으며 군은 북상면 5.3cm, 고제면 4.4cm의 누적 적설량과 한파로 인한 도로 결빙 우려에 따라 이병철 거창군 부군수 주재로 긴급상황판단회의를 개최, 공무원 비상소집을 결정했다.

이에 따라 300여명의 공무원이 비상소집에 응소해 오후 1시 30분부터 각 부서별로 배정된 제설작업 구간에서 제설작업에 나섰다.

동시에 12개 읍면에서도 마을안길 제설작업에 동참해 지역 안전 확보에 힘을 보탰다.

거창군은 기온 강하에 대비해 덤프트럭 6대와 전문인력 20명을 동원해 주요도로에 소금 24톤을 사전 살포했다.
