[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 지난 5일부터 오는 12일까지 미국을 방문해 글로벌 우주항공 기업과 협력 강화 및 지역 기업의 해외시장 진출 지원에 나섰다고 7일 밝혔다.
이번 미국 방문단은 (사)한국항공우주산업진흥협회와 공동으로 진행, 진주시 지역 기업의 글로벌 경쟁력을 높이고 신사업 발굴의 기회를 마련하기 위해 구성됐다.
방문단은 6일 샌디에이고에 있는 시스템 및 하드웨어 개발 전문 기업으로 우주항공 유망기업인 ConsuNova를 방문해 MOU를 체결하면서 공식 일정을 시작했다.
이번 협약은 진주시의 항공기 인증사업 활성화, 전문인력 양성 및 일자리 창출, 우주항공산업 클러스터 구축을 위한 자문 제공 등이 주요 내용이다.
7일부터 오는 10일에는 라스베이거스에서 열리는 세계 최대 IT·가전 전시회 ‘CES 2025’에 참가해 진주시 지역 기업의 글로벌 판로 개척을 지원한다.
이번 CES에 진주시 방문단은 기업 준엔지니어링㈜()과 ㈜모아소프트가 대한무역투자진흥공사 통합한국관에 참여해 세계 기업들과 네트워킹을 형성하고 활발한 세일즈 활동을 전개할 예정이다.
