서천군은 지난 6일 군청 대회의실에서 미래 100년 성장 기반 조성을 위한 2025년 주요업무 추진계획 보고회를 열고 군정 운영의 청사진을 제시했다.
이번 보고회는 2024년 군정 운영 성과를 분석하고 한계를 진단하며, 2025년 실질적인 성과를 목표로 한 추진 전략을 집중 논의했다.
군은 2025년 군정 운영 방향으로 ▲민생경제 회복과 지역경제 활성화 △미래 핵심사업 육성 ▲관광·문화·체육을 통한 지역 매력도 제고 ▲지역소멸 위기 극복 및 정주여건 개선 ▲따뜻한 복지 실현 ▲신뢰받는 행정서비스 제공 등 6대 목표를 설정했다.
특히, 국가 보안산업과 해양바이오 첨단산업 육성을 통해 지역의 새로운 성장 동력을 확보하겠다는 계획도 내세웠다.
군은 첨단 기술을 접목한 미래농업체계 구축을 통해 농업의 경쟁력을 높이고, 어촌신활력사업과 대규모 항만 개발로 지역 경제를 활성화할 방침이다.
또한, 지역 특산물을 활용한 산업 다각화를 추진해 경제 거점으로서의 역할을 강화한다는 전략이다.
