충남 부여군의 고향사랑기부제가 2024년 들어 큰 성과를 거두며 모금액 9억 원을 넘어섰다.
부여군에 따르면, 지난해 12월 30일 오전 9시 기준으로 7억 원을 넘긴 후 이틀 만에 기부 금액이 급격히 증가해 최종적으로 9억 16만 9301원을 기록했다. 이는 2023년 모금액의 270% 수준으로, 충남도 15개 시군 중 2위에 해당하는 성과다.
부여군 관계자는 "공동체를 위한 가치 있는 기부금 사업 선정, 실속 있고 다양한 답례품 운영, 기부자 맞춤형 홍보 전략이 이번 성과의 핵심 요인"이라고 분석했다.
특히 부여군은 지난해 초부터 기부 활성화를 위해 단계적으로 준비를 진행했다. '고향사랑기부제 기금사업 아이디어 발굴대회'를 개최해 11개 부서로부터 20개 사업 아이디어를 수집했다.
이를 토대로 참전유공자 주거 환경 개선사업을 지정기부 사업으로 선정했으며, 소아청소년과 운영비 지원 및 아이돌보미 본인부담금 확대 지원 등을 기금 사업으로 채택했다. 지정기부 사업은 모금 시작 18일 만에 목표액 1억 원을 초과 달성하며 화제를 모았다.
답례품 역시 기부자들의 눈길을 끌었다. 초벌구이 장어, 디저트 세트, 퇴비, 토마토 한과 등 실용적이고 매력적인 품목이 제공됐으며, 굿뜨래 한우 및 한돈 세트의 증량 이벤트도 큰 호응을 얻었다.
