[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 올해 장애인복지사업에 총 640억원을 투입해 장애인의 자립생활, 경제적 안정, 활발한 사회참여를 위한 다양한 복지사업을 추진한다고 8일 밝혔다.
시의 이번 사업은 장애인들의 눈높이에 맞춘 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하고, 장애인복지에 대한 만족도를 높이기 위한 노력의 일환으로 마련됐다.
우선 진주시는 지난해 수요자 중심 장애인 지원체계 지원사업에서 최우수상을 받은 신규 등록장애인 바로지원서비스를 확대 시행할 방침이다.
이 사업은 민관 협력체계를 통해 미등록 장애인을 발굴하고, 복지 정보 제공, 종합 상담, 서비스 연계를 통해 장애인에게 연령 및 특성에 맞는 복지서비스를 제공할 예정이다.
또 시는 장애인 일자리 확대를 통해 경제적 자립을 지원하기 위해 올해 공공일자리사업은 190명으로 지난해보다 29명이 증가한 규모로 시행한다.
