최상목 대통령 권한대행 경제부총리 겸 기획재정부 장관은 13일 "미 신정부가 출범하더라도 한국 경제의 견조한 펀더멘털을 바탕으로 한·미 간 경제협력이 굳건히 유지될 수 있도록 최선을 다해달라"고 주문했다.
최 권한대행은 이날 오전 정부서울청사에서 주재한 대외경제현안간담회에서 "미 신정부 출범이 일주일 앞으로 다가왔다"며 "속도감 있는 정책추진으로 우리 경제에 상당한 영향을 미칠 것"이라며 이같이 밝혔다.
그러면서 "정부·기업·경제단체 간 긴밀한 공조 하에 대응 방안을 마련해야 한다"며 "국회와도 적극 소통·협의해 나가야 한다"고 했다.
