보령시는 지난 13일 시청 중회의실에서 김동일 시장 주재로 2025년도 주요업무계획 보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 보고회에는 본청 및 직속기관 실과장, 읍면동장 등 70여 명의 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 2024년 시정 운영 성과를 점검하고, 2025년 주요 정책 방향을 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.
이번 보고회는 을사년 새해를 맞아 보령시가 나아갈 방향과 전략을 재정립하고, 향후 추진할 역점 과제를 공유하는 자리로 마련됐다.
시는 지난해 ▲2025년 정부예산 5115억 원 확보, ▲탄소중립 에너지 기회발전특구 지정, ▲탄소중립 선도도시 선정, ▲충남 유일 지방소멸대응기금 우수등급 달성, ▲골드시티 업무협약 체결, ▲3대 해양메가이벤트 성공 개최, ▲보령머드축제 대한민국 브랜드 대상(국무총리상) 수상 등 다양한 성과를 거두었다.
특히, 올해는 ‘대한민국 탄소중립의 심장! 보령’을 비전으로 삼아, 3대 핵심 전략을 통해 시정 운영을 이끌어 나갈 예정이다.
