[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 15일 군청 상황실에서 관계 공무원과 용역사 등 30여명이 참석한 가운데 거창군 치유산업 종합계획 수립 용역 완료보고회를 개최했다.

이날 보고회에서는 지난해 4월과 8월 두 차례에 걸쳐 진행한 착수보고와 중간보고에서 제시된 치유산업 종합계획의 세부 사업을 보완하고 향후 거창형 치유 산업의 추진 전략과 ‘거창치유산업특구’ 지정을 위한 방안을 논의했다.

거창형 치유산업 종합계획은 △산림치유 △치유농업 △웰니스 등 3대 중점 추진 전략을 기반으로 감악산 치유 스팟조성, 치유의 백패킹, 숲놀이터, 치유정원 조성, 거창치유대축제 등 10개의 단위 사업, 30개의 세부 사업으로 구성되어 있다.

구인모 군수는 “치유농업·산업의 육성지원은 민선 8기 역점공약 사업이다 이번 용역 결과를 바탕으로 치유산업이 거창군의 미래 먹거리 산업이자 관광의 주요 테마가 될 수 있도록 최선의 노력을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 군은 다음달 말까지 중소벤처기업부에 ‘거창치유산업특구’ 신청서를 제출할 계획이며 본격적인 치유산업 중심 도시로의 도약을 위한 거창형 치유산업 종합계획 단계별 사업을 적극적으로 추진할 방침이다.
