브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 12·3 비상계엄 사태 이후 윤석열 대통령을 지지하는 극우·보수성향 유튜버들의 수입이 2배 가까이 증가했다는 자료가 발표됐다.
19일 정일영 더불어민주당 의원이 공개한 글로벌 유튜브 채널 순위집계 플랫폼 '플레이보드'의 분석자료에 따르면 극우·보수성향 유튜버들의 슈퍼챗(후원금) 수입 순위 상위 7개 채널 중 6개의 지난해 12월 수익이 전월 대비 평균 2.1배 증가했다.
특히 극우·보수성향 유튜버 중 최다 구독자(162만명)를 보유한 A채널의 지난해 12월 슈퍼챗 수입은 1억2500만원으로, 전월 5908만원 대비 6621만원(2.1배) 늘었다.
52만명의 구독자를 보유한 B채널은 같은 기간 2034만원에서 4684만원으로 2.3배 늘었다.
유튜버 C와 D도 각각 슈퍼챗 수입이 2.1배 증가했다.
34만명 이상의 구독자를 보유한 E채널의 경우, 지난해 11월 868만원에서 12월 2187만원으로 한달새 수입이 2.5배나 커졌다.
더욱이 상위 채널들은 슈퍼챗 이외의 별도 계좌를 통해 후원금을 모집하고 있는데, 이 계좌들에서 받은 후원금 액수는 공개되지 않고 있다. 일부 유튜버는 개인계좌를 표기해 수익을 올리는가 하면, 한 채널은 제3자의 개인 계좌를 게시해 후원금을 받고 있기도 했다.
이에 대해 정일영 의원은 "극우·보수성향 유튜버들이 허위정보와 무분별한 혐오를 통해 막대한 수익을 창출하고 있다"며 "이들의 각종 수입에 대한 세금신고 및 과세가 투명하고 정당하게 이뤄지고 있는지 국세청의 신속하고 강력한 점검이 필요하다"고 했다. 정 의원은 "필요하다면 빠른 시일 내 특별세무조사를 실시해야 한다"고 강조했다.

According to analysis data from the global YouTube channel ranking platform 'Playboard' released by Rep. Jeong Il-young of the Democratic Party of Korea on the 19th, among the top 7 channels in terms of far-right and conservative YouTubers' Super Chat (donation) income, 6 of them saw their revenue increase by an average of 2.1 times in December last year compared to the previous month.
In particular, Channel A, which has the most subscribers (1.62 million) among far-right and conservative YouTubers, saw its Super Chat income in December last year increase by 66.21 million won (2.1 times) from 59.08 million won the previous month to 125 million won.
Channel B, with 520,000 subscribers, increased 2.3 times from 20.34 million won to 46.84 million won during the same period.
YouTubers C and D also saw their Super Chat income increase 2.1 times.
Channel E, with over 340,000 subscribers, saw its income increase 2.5 times in one month from 8.68 million won in November last year to 21.87 million won in December.
Furthermore, the top channels are collecting donations through separate accounts other than Super Chat, but the amount of donations received from these accounts is not disclosed. Some YouTubers are earning income by displaying their personal accounts, while one channel is receiving donations by posting the personal accounts of third parties.

Jeong Il-young said, "Extreme right-wing and conservative YouTubers are making huge profits through false information and indiscriminate hatred," and "The National Tax Service needs to conduct a swift and strong inspection to see if their various incomes are being reported and taxed transparently and fairly." Rep. Jeong emphasized, "If necessary, a special tax investigation should be conducted as soon as possible."
