브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이준석 개혁신당 의원은 최근 제기되고 있는 부정선거 논란과 관련 "부정선거 음모론에 정면으로 대응하지 않고는 대한민국 정치의 미래가 없다"며 부정선거 음모론을 깨는 일타강사가 되겠다고 밝혔다.
이준석 의원은 28일 자신의 페이스북 계정에 글을 올려 "이미 대법원 판결을 통해 부정선거 의혹은 논리적으로 반박되었으며, 더 이상 논란의 여지가 없는 사실로 정리되었다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 그럼에도 여전히 일부 세력이 금전적, 정치적 이익을 위해 국민을 현혹하고 혼란을 조장하고 있다고 지적하며 "부정선거론의 우두머리 격인 황교안 전 대표 등과 직접 토론을 요청했지만 이런저런 핑계를 대며 회피하고 있는 상황이 반복되고 있어 답답한 심정"이라고 호소했다.
이어 그는 "합리적인 토론과 공개적인 논의를 통해 이 문제가 조속히 해결될 수 있도록 여러분의 힘이 필요하다"고 호소했다.
그는 또한 "부정선거 음모론이 대한민국의 국격을 훼손하고 민주주의와 법치주의에 심각한 위협이 되고 있다"며 "국민들이 직접 음모론을 논리적으로 반박하는 것이 중요하다"고 강조했다.
이 의원은 아울러 "지금 대한민국은 지성과 반(反)지성으로 양분된 시대에 놓여 있다"며 "지성의 힘이 반지성을 압도할 수 있도록 적극적인 관심과 참여가 중요하다"고 강조했다.
그러면서 "집에서도, 직장에서도, 학교에서도, 온라인 상에서도 각각의 현장에서 부정선거 음모론자들을 논리적으로 논박해 주셔야 한다. 이것이 대한민국의 이 저급한 정치 논란을 조기에 종식시키는 길"이라고 덧붙였다.
