브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= KT&G 상상마당 부산이 신진 뮤지션 발굴 프로그램인 ‘2025 상상라이브연습실’의 TOP 6를 발표했다.
지난해 12월부터 공개 모집을 시작한 이번 프로그램에는 총 82팀이 지원해 14:1로 역대 최대 경쟁률을 기록했으며, 1차 서류심사와 2차 실연 심사를 통해 상위 6개 팀이 선정됐다.
6개 팀은 ‘권결’, ‘직사광선’, ‘컨파인드화이트’, ‘폴리아모리’, ‘헤븐이즈데어’, ‘7번 국도’로, 아티스트로서 우수한 역량을 선보였다.
선정된 6개 팀은 오는 3월 23일 KT&G 상상마당 부산 라이브홀에서 최종 우승팀 선발을 위한 파이널 공연에 오른다. 최종 우승팀에게는 상금과 함께 KT&G 상상마당 홍대 라이브홀, 부산국제록페스티벌에서 공연할 수 있는 기회가 주어진다.
‘상상라이브연습실’은 KT&G 상상마당 부산의 대표적인 문화예술 프로그램 중 하나로, 2020년 시작돼 재능 있는 뮤지션을 발굴하고 성장의 기회를 제공하고 있다. 상상마당 부산은 지난해까지 해당 프로그램을 통해 모스힐, 밴드기린 등 총 61개팀의 아티스트를 지원했다.
KT&G 문화공헌부 김천범 공연담당 파트장은 “상상라이브연습실이 고유한 개성과 실력을 갖춘 신진 뮤지션들에게 대중과 만나는 또다른 기회가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 신진 아티스트 지원을 통해 다양한 장르의 음악과 공연문화 활성화에 기여할 것이다”고 말했다.
한편, KT&G 상상마당은 신진 예술가들의 창작활동을 지원하고 대중에게 폭넓은 문화경험을 제공하는 복합문화예술공간으로, 2007년 ‘상상마당 홍대’를 시작으로 논산·춘천·대치·부산까지 총 5곳에서 운영되고 있다. 상상마당의 연간 방문객은 약 300만명에 달하며, 매년 3000여개의 문화예술 프로그램이 운영되고 있다.
