충남 서천군이 최근 공약이행평가위원회를 열어 민선 8기 공약사업의 추진 상황을 점검하고 일부 사업의 변경 사항을 심의했다.
서천군에 따르면 민선 8기 공약사업은 총 60개로 구성돼 있으며, 이 가운데 10개 사업이 이미 완료됐다. 완료된 주요 사업으로는 ▲장항국가생태산단 내 임대주택 유치기업(기관) 공급 ▲기벌포영화관 문화프로그램 다양화 ▲동부권 어르신 통합 돌봄센터(노치원) 건립 등이 있다.
현재 진행 중인 47개 사업도 순조롭게 추진되고 있다. 주요 사업으로는 ▲마을별 생활 쓰레기 분리수거장 설치 ▲맞춤형 노인 돌봄 플랫폼 구축을 통한 보건의료 서비스 강화 ▲군민 중심의 민원행정 체계 정착 등이 포함된다. 이에 따라 서천군의 공약사업 정상 추진율은 95%를 기록하며 대부분의 사업이 계획대로 진행 중인 것으로 나타났다.
