충남 금산군이 인삼 소비 확대와 글로벌 시장 개척을 위해 올해도 인삼산업 지원을 아끼지 않는다. 국내 소비 촉진은 물론 해외 수출 확대를 목표로 약 63억 원을 투입해 다각적인 지원책을 추진할 계획이다.
금산군은 인삼 농가의 경쟁력을 높이고 안정적인 생산 기반을 마련하기 위해 올해 33억 4000만 원을 투입한다. 인삼재배용 추비, 발효부숙제, 지주대, 객토 지원 등을 통해 고품질 인삼 생산을 유도한다.
특히, 연작 장해를 예방하기 위해 74.9ha 규모의 객토 지원 사업을 추진하며, 유기질비료와 발효부숙제 등도 상반기와 하반기로 나눠 지원할 예정이다.
금산군은 지난해부터 금산수삼센터와 금산약초시장을 중심으로 인삼시장 현대화 사업을 진행 중이다. 올해는 10억 8700만 원을 투입해 판매장 리모델링, 비 가림 시설 보수, 지붕 교체 등을 추진한다. 이를 통해 방문객의 만족도를 높이고 시장 활성화를 도모할 방침이다.
