윤석열 대통령이 7일 "헌법재판소 탄핵심판 과정서 비상계엄 사태가 곡해돼있다"며 "(그 원인은) 더불어민주당·좌파가 카르텔을 형성해 공격하고 있다"며 국민의힘·지지층의 적극 대응을 당부했다.
국민의힘 윤상현·김민전 의원은 이날 오전 경기 의왕시 서울구치소에서 윤 대통령을 접견 후 이같은 대화 내용을 전했다.
윤 대통령은 "헌재에 나가보니, 이제야 좀 알겠다. 이렇게 곡해돼있구나 생각했다"며 "헌재에 (탄핵심판 변론기일에) 나간 게 잘한 것 같다"고 했다.
윤 의원은 이와 관련해 '홍장원 전 국정원 제1차장·곽종근 전 특수전사령관 등이 헌재 탄핵심판 증인으로 출석해 한 증언들 일부가 바뀌었다'는 점을 지적했다.
윤 대통령은 또 "민주당·좌파는 강력하게 카르텔을 형성하고 집요하게 싸우지 않나"라며 "우리는 모래알이 돼선 안 된다. 지금은 자유민주주의 체제 위기다. 강력한 자세를 견지하는 게 중요하다"고 강조했다.
