[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 정월대보름인 12일 지신밟기 행사를 개최했다.

지신밟기는 정월대보름을 전후해 집터를 지켜준다는 지신(地神)에게 고사를 올리고 풍물을 울려 한 해의 평안과 가정의 다복을 비는 전통 세시풍속이다.

김해민속예술보존회(회장 천승호) 주관의 이번 행사는 이날 오전 9시 30분 시청 본관에서 시작해 시의회, 동부소방서를 방문해 고유제를 지내고 지신밟기를 하면서 시민 화합과 안녕을 기원했다.

홍태용 시장은 “정월대보름 지신밟기 행사로 새해 액운을 떨치고 가정마다 복이 가득하시길 기원한다”며 “2025년은 김해시군통합 30주년을 맞는 아주 뜻깊은 해로 더 빛나는 30년, 100년을 만들어 갈 도약의 길에 함께해 주시기 바란다”고 말했다.
