충청남도 선거관리위원회가 오는 3월 5일 실시되는 제1회 전국동시새마을금고이사장선거와 4월 2일 아산시장재선거를 앞두고 장애인 직업재활시설과 협업해 참신한 홍보 활동을 펼친다.
충남 선관위는 공주시 소재 장애인 직업재활시설인 ‘명주원보호작업장’에서 장애인 근로자들이 직접 생산하는 ‘선거빵’에 투표 참여를 독려하는 홍보문구를 부착해 유권자와 선거 관계자들에게 배포할 계획이다.
‘선거빵’에는 “3월 5일, 꼭 투표하세요!”, “유권자를 위한 마음과 노고에 감사드립니다.”라는 문구가 담겨 있어 유권자들에게 선거 참여의 중요성을 알리고, 선거 관계자들에게 격려의 메시지를 전할 예정이다.
충남 선관위 관계자는 “장애인 직업재활시설과 협력한 이번 홍보가 선거에 대한 유권자의 관심을 높이고, 동시에 중증장애인생산품에 대한 긍정적인 인식을 확산하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
