부여군은 공동육아나눔터를 통해 영유아와 아동에게 안전하고 체계적인 돌봄 서비스를 제공하며, 맞벌이 가정의 양육 부담을 덜어주기 위한 노력을 지속하고 있다고 14일 밝혔다.
공동육아나눔터는 부모들이 자유롭게 활용할 수 있는 개방형 공동체 공간으로, 품앗이 돌봄 활동과 이웃 간 교류를 통해 육아 부담을 경감하는 역할을 수행하고 있다.
현재 부여군에는 부여읍과 규암면에 각각 1곳씩 총 2개의 공동육아나눔터가 운영되고 있으며, 0세부터 12세까지의 영유아 및 아동을 대상으로 다양한 돌봄 프로그램을 지원하고 있다.
특히, 공동육아나눔터에는 전담 인력을 배치해 ▲돌봄 품앗이 운영 ▲부모-자녀 참여 프로그램 ▲무료 장난감 도서관 등을 운영하며, 맞춤형 돌봄 지원을 한층 강화하고 있다.
또한, 초등학생들의 방학 기간 동안 돌봄 공백을 최소화하기 위해 평일 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지 운영을 지속하며, 맞벌이 가정으로부터 높은 호응을 얻고 있다.
박정현 부여군수는 “한 아이를 키우기 위해서는 온 마을이 힘을 모아야 한다는 말처럼, 지역 공동체가 함께 참여하는 돌봄 환경 조성을 위해 다각적인 지원책을 마련하고 있다”라며 “아이를 낳고 키우기 좋은 환경을 만들기 위해 지속적으로 양육 친화적인 정책을 개발해 나가겠다”라고 밝혔다.
