골프존이 개발한 세계 최초의 도심형 하이브리드 골프장 '시티골프'가 중국에서 큰 관심을 받고 있다. 이 골프장은 스크린골프와 필드골프의 장점을 융합하여 도심에서도 필드 경험을 제공하는 혁신적인 플랫폼이다.
지난해 12월 20일, 시티골프는 중국 정부와 학계에서 '2024년 중국 스마트 스포츠 대표 사례'로 선정되며 주목받았다. 최근 신화통신과 중국일보는 시티골프가 중국의 골프 산업 디지털 전환을 선도하고, '건강한 중국'을 위한 국가 전략에 기여할 것이라고 보도했다.
골프존은 올해 시티골프 2호점 출점을 목표로 사업을 추진하고 있으며, 국내외 주요 도시로의 확장을 계획하고 있다. 시티골프는 5천 평의 실내 공간에 18홀 규모로 구성되어 있으며, 스크린과 그린을 결합하여 날씨와 시간에 구애받지 않고 실제 필드에서 플레이하는 듯한 경험을 제공한다.
골프존은 지난 1월 미국 올랜도에서 열린 '2025 PGA쇼'에 참가하여 시티골프를 소개하고, 향후 미국, 베트남, 일본 등지에도 지점을 추가 오픈할 계획이다. 골프존 관계자는 “각 국가의 특성에 맞춰 전략적으로 사업을 확장할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
GolfZone's 'CityGolf' urban golf course garners attention in China
CityGolf, the world's first urban hybrid golf course developed by GolfZone, has garnered significant interest in China. It is an innovative platform that fuses the advantages of screen golf and field golf to provide a field experience in the city center.
On December 20th last year, Citygolf was selected as the “2024 China Smart Sports Representative Case” by the Chinese government and academia. Recently, Xinhua News Agency and China Daily reported that Citygolf will lead the digital transformation of China's golf industry and contribute to the national strategy for a “healthy China.
Golf Zone aims to open the second Citygolf this year and plans to expand to major cities at home and abroad. CityGolf consists of 18 holes in an indoor space of 5,000 square meters, and combines screens and greens to provide a realistic experience of playing on the field regardless of weather and time.
Golfzone introduced CityGolf at the 2025 PGA Show in Orlando in January, and plans to open additional branches in the U.S., Vietnam, and Japan in the future. “We will strategically expand our business according to the characteristics of each country,” said a Golfzone representative.
