20일 윤석열 대통령 헌법재판소 탄핵심판 10차 변론 증인심문에서 조지호 경찰청장은 "관련 사항이 공소 사실에 포함돼 있어 증언을 못하더라도 양해해달라"고 말했다.
이날 오후 서울 종로구 헌재 대심판정에서 열린 10차 변론기일 세 번째 증언에 나선 조 청장은 국회 측 대리인 이금규 변호사의 '12·3 비상계엄 전후 상황' 질문에 "관련 건으로 기소돼 서울중앙지법에서 형사재판 피고인 신분"이라며 이같이 답했다.
또 '지난해 12월 3일 삼청동 안가에서 윤 대통령·김용현 전 국방장관과 만났는지, 윤 대통령으로부터 어떤 지시를 받았는지'란 질문에도 "양해 부탁드린다"며 거부했다.
