최상목 대통령 권한대행 경제부총리 겸 기획재정부 장관이 14일 "금융·외환시장 대외 불확실성이 커 24시간 점검 체계를 유지하겠다"고 밝혔다.
최 권한대행은 이날 오전 서울 종로구 정부서울청사에서 열린 '거시경제·금융현안간담회(F4 회의)'에서 이같이 밝혔다.
그러면서 "미국 관세 부과·상대국 대응·미국 경기 둔화 우려 부각 등으로 대외 불확실성이 큰 상황"이라며 최근 금융·외환시장 상황을 진단했다.
또 "다음 주 미 연준(Fed) 연방공개시장위원회·일본은행 금융정책결정회의 등 주요국 통화정책 결정이 예정된 만큼 관계기관 간 긴밀한 공조로 글로벌 경기·금융시장 동향에 대한 24시간 점검 체계를 유지할 것"을 주문했다.
