[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시 가야문화축제가 4월 10일부터 13일까지 ‘이천년 고도 가야, 글로컬 도시 김해’라는 주제로 대성동고분군, 수릉원, 가야의 거리 일원에서 개최된다.
이에 김해시는 오는 21일 시청 대회의실에서 '2025 가야문화축제' 행사설명회를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
축제의 전반적인 내용과 추진 방향을 시민에게 널리 알려 적극적인 참여를 이끌기 위해서다.
이 자리에는 김해시장, 공동주관기관인 가야문화축제제전위원회와 김해문화관광재단, 도·시의원을 비롯한 관계 기관, 문화예술단체, 시민 등 약 250여명이 참석할 예정이다.
축제 주요 내용과 프로그램 소개, 행사장 부스 배치 계획, 그리고 축제 홍보, 운영 방안 등을 공유하고 질의응답으로 시민들의 다양한 의견을 듣고 반영할 방침이다.
올해 축제는 가락국 시조 김수로왕의 창국 정신과 이천년 가야문화를 계승·발전시키기 위해 1962년부터 이어온 역사와 전통은 계승하면서도 빠르게 변하는 축제 트렌드를 최대한 반영할 수 있도록 김해문화관광재단과 공동 주관으로 추진한다.
축제 기간 동안 개막식과 폐막식, 수로왕행차 퍼레이드, 미디어파사드, 가야판타지아, 시민참여 프린지 페스티벌, 다문화어울림의 장, 석전놀이 등 민속공연 등 40여 개의 다양한 프로그램이 열리며 시군 통합 30주년 기념식을 한 달 앞두고 시민들의 화합을 극대화할 전망이다.
특히 올해는 유네스코 세계유산 등재와 함께 시의 확실한 랜드마크로 자리한 대성동고분군 일대로 프로그램을 집중해 축제의 정체성을 강화한다.
지난해 첫 선을 보이며 각광을 받은 가야판타지아 프로그램을 확대 운영하고 고분군을 스크린으로 활용한 미디어파사드쇼를 연다.
또 기존 도로를 막고 하루만 진행했던 수로왕행차 퍼레이드를 고분군을 중심으로 행사장 내에서 매일 진행하는 등 고분군 중심으로 프로그램을 집중, ‘킬러콘텐츠’로 육성해 확실한 색채를 지닌 지역 대표 축제로 각인시킬 계획이다.
홍태용 시장은 ＂이번 설명회는 관계자들의 이해를 돕고 시민분들의 관심을 높여 축제를 성공적으로 이끌어가기 위해 마련됐다”며 “한 달도 채 남지 않은 축제를 잘 마무리하기 위해서 시민분들의 관심과 참여가 무엇보다 중요하다”고 강조했다.
