계룡시립예술단 공식 출범…지역 문화예술 활성화 기대

충남 계룡시가 지난 15일 지역 문화예술의 새로운 도약을 알리는 ‘계룡시립예술단’ 창단식을 성황리에 개최했다고 17일 밝혔다.

계룡문화예술의전당에서 열린 이날 행사에는 이응우 계룡시장, 김범규 시의회 의장을 비롯한 주요 인사와 지역 주민들이 참석해 시립예술단 출범을 축하하고 문화 발전에 대한 기대감을 나눴다.

계룡시립예술단은 최재성 부시장을 단장으로 하며, 미래 세대에 꿈과 희망을 전할 어린이합창단(40명)과 지역 전통문화를 계승·발전시킬 왕대백중놀이 공연단(40명)으로 구성됐다.

이응우 시장은 "시립예술단 창단은 지역사회가 문화예술로 더욱 화합하는 계기가 될 것"이라며 "다양한 세대가 함께 어우러지는 활동을 통해 전통예술의 가치를 재조명하고, 계룡시를 문화예술 강소도시로 발전시켜 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.
