세종시가 행정안전부의 우수 마을기업 선정에서 5년 연속 성과를 거두며, 지속 가능한 마을기업 모델을 확립하고 있다.
이번에 선정된 마을기업은 연서면에 위치한 주식회사 아테나공동체로, 이 기업은 ‘2025년 우수 마을기업’으로 선정되어 최대 7000만 원의 사업비 지원을 받게 된다.
올해 우수 마을기업에는 전국에서 총 42개 기업이 신청했으며, 치열한 경쟁을 뚫고 17개 기업이 최종 선정됐다. 아테나공동체는 회수형 도시락 사업과 마을카페 등 주민 참여형 사업을 통해 지역 주민의 공동체 의식을 강화하고 공공성을 실현한 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.
또한, 연서면의 쌍류포도정원협동조합도 ‘고도화 마을기업’으로 선정되어 최대 2000만 원의 사업비를 지원받는다.
이 협동조합은 지역 특산물인 포도와 들깨를 활용한 가공 및 판매 사업과 농촌 체험 프로그램을 운영하며, 농촌 경제 활성화와 지역 주민 소득 증대에 기여하고 있다.
