브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 국내 시가총액 상위 500대 기업 대표이사(CEO) 가운데, 경영·재무 출신의 ‘관리형 CEO'가 절반이나 되고, 3년 전에 비해서도 2.9%p 늘어난 것으로 조사됐다.
반면, 기술·연구직 출신의 ‘기술형 CEO’는 28.4%에 불과하고, 3년 전에 비해서도 3.4%p 줄어들었다.
19일 CEO스코어에 따르면 시가총액 상위 500대 기업 중 470개 사를 대상으로 올해 3월(637명)과 2022년 3월(655명) 기준 대표이사들의 이력을 분석한 결과, 기술·연구 직무 출신 비중은 28.4%(181명)로 3년 전 대비 3.4%p 줄었다. 생산·구매 등 현장직 출신도 3.3%(21명)로, 3년 전(4.6%)보다 1.3%p 감소했다.
반대로, 경영·재무 등 이른바 관리형 CEO 비중은 같은 기간 46.9%에서 49.8%(317명)로 2.9%p 늘어나며 전체의 절반(49.8%)에 육박했다.
엔지니어 출신 CEO 대신 관리형 CEO를 늘리는 추세는, 자산 총액 5조원 이상인 대기업집단 소속 기업들(309명 조사)에서 더욱 뚜렷했다.
