CJ제일제당이 최근 경남 산청과 경북 의성 등 대형 산불 피해 지역에 긴급 구호 물품을 지원한다고 24일 밝혔다.
지원 물품은 햇반, 비비고 국물요리 가정간편식(HMR), 맛밤 등 총 1만여 개 제품으로 구성되었으며, 전국재해구호협회를 통해 이재민과 소방관, 자원봉사자 등 피해 복구 인력에게 전달될 예정이다.
CJ제일제당 관계자는 "갑작스러운 산불로 큰 피해를 입은 지역 주민들과 구호 인력들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바라는 마음으로 긴급 지원을 결정했다"고 밝혔다.
CJ제일제당은 향후 산불 피해 상황을 지속적으로 관찰하며 추가 지원 방안도 적극적으로 검토할 계획이다.
CJ CheilJedang donates 10,000 emergency relief supplies to areas affected by wildfires
CJ CheilJedang announced today that it is donating emergency relief supplies to areas affected by the recent large-scale wildfires in Sancheong, Gyeongnam and Uisung, Gyeongbuk.
The supplies consisted of a total of 10,000 products, including Sunban, Bibigo soup-based home meals (HMR), and flavored chestnuts, and will be delivered to victims, firefighters, and volunteers through the National Disaster Relief Association.
A CJ CheilJedang representative said, "We decided to provide emergency support with the hope that it will be of some help to the local residents and relief workers who were severely affected by the sudden wildfires."
CJ CheilJedang will continue to monitor the situation of the wildfires and actively consider additional support measures.
