【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시가 경기 침체로 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역 기업들에게 신산업 지원을 통해 돌파구를 마련하겠다고 밝혔다.

시는 31일, 기업지원 프로그램의 자부담 비율을 기존 10%에서 5%로 낮추고, 경주 e-모빌리티 연구단지의 첨단장비 무상 지원을 확대하여 기업 성장을 돕겠다고 전했다.
이번 기업지원 프로그램은 △지역특화 신산업 전환 촉진 기업지원(4억4000만 원) △탄소소재 부품 기업지원(3억 원) △기술닥터 119 지원(1억 원) △e모빌리티 전기 구동계 부품산업 기술 혁신(3억 원) 등 4개 사업으로 구성되며, 경주시가 주최하고 각 관련 기관이 주관한다.
이 중 신산업 전환 촉진 사업은 동국대 산학협력단과 포항소재산업진흥원이 주관하며, 나머지 3개 사업은 경북테크노파크에서 진행한다. 각 사업에 대한 자세한 사항은 해당 기관에 문의하거나 홈페이지를 통해 확인할 수 있다. 또한, 시는 향후 기업지원 자부담 비율 완화 사업 대상을 점차적으로 확대할 계획이다.
경주시는 또 외동에 위치한 경주 e-모빌리티 연구단지의 첨단장비 무상 지원도 확대한다고 밝혔다. 연구단지 내 미래차 첨단소재 성형가공센터는 첨단소재 복합환경 내구 시험기와 고온저온 고소피로 시험기 등 시험평가 장비 8종을 보유하고 있으며, 탄소소재 부품 리사이클링센터는 탄소소재 재생산을 위한 시생산 장비 6종과 분석장비 8종을 갖추고 있다.
또한, 배터리 공유스테이션 통합관제 허브센터에는 배터리 충전 성능 평가장비와 빅데이터 기반 통합관제 분석 시스템 등이 설치돼 있으며, 올해 내로 배터리 진동·충격 시험기와 배터리 낙하식 충격 시험기도 추가로 도입될 예정이다.
경주시는 지난해에도 12건의 기업지원 사업(40억 원)을 추진하여 기업체 매출액 748억 원 및 수출액 26억 원 증대, 신규 고용 91명, 특허·저작권 18건 등의 성과를 달성한 바 있다.
주낙영 경주시장은 “기업이 살아야 지역이 살고 나라도 산다”며, “앞으로도 지역 중소기업의 성장을 촉진하고 연구 역량을 강화하기 위해 다양한 기업지원 시책을 발굴하고 지원하는 데 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
