브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 국민의힘은 1일 윤석열 대통령 탄핵재판과 관련 "민주당은 헌법재판소 판결이 본인들 희망대로 나오지 않을 때는 ‘불복, 저항’해야 한다는 논리로 헌재 판결에 대한 불복 밑자락을 깔고 있다"고 비판했다.
정광재 대변인은 이날 논평을 통해 "윤석열을 끝내 파면하지 못하거나 기각하는 결론을 내린다면 이를 수용할 수 없다며 공언하고 있는 민주당의 4선 중진 박홍근 의원은 혹시, 민주당이 위헌 정당임을 자백하고 있는 것인가"라며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 "윤 대통령 탄핵 재판의 결과가 인용이면 정의이고, 기각이나 각하이면 불의라는 박 의원의 평가는 도대체 어디에서 나온 건지 묻지 않을 수 없다"면서 "오히려, 이재명 민주당 정권 창출을 위해서라면 내각 총탄핵과 같은 반헌법적 발상까지 실행에 옮길 수 있다는 민주당의 오만함이 불의 아닌가"라고 꼬집었다.
이어 그는 "지금이라도 민주당은 헌재 판결에 대한 승복을 약속해야 한다"면서 "탄핵이 기각되면 결코 받아들일 수 없다는 입장을 공식 천명해야 한다고 제안한 박홍근 의원 역시 즉시 발언을 취소하고 사과해야 한다"고 촉구했다.
그러면서 "국민의힘은 이미 여러 차례 헌재의 탄핵 재판 판결 승복을 약속한 바 있다. 헌법재판관 한 분 한 분이 헌법정신과 대한민국의 미래를 위해 책임 있는 결정을 내릴 것이고, 그 판결은 존중돼야 한다"고 덧붙였다.
한편, 헌법재판소는 오는 4일 오전 11시 윤 대통령 탄핵 심판에 대한 선고를 내릴 예정이다.
