충남 서산시는 행정안전부가 주관하는 국가재난관리 유공 평가에서 안전한국훈련 분야 우수기관으로 선정되어 대통령 표창을 수상했다고 7일 밝혔다.
이번 수상은 서산시가 재난 관리 및 대응에 대한 적극적인 노력을 인정받은 결과로, 지역사회의 안전을 위한 중요한 이정표가 되었다.
서산시는 지난해 3월 27일 대산산업단지에서 화재와 폭발로 인한 유해화학물질 유출 상황을 가정한 ‘레디코리아 훈련’에 참가하여 성공적으로 훈련을 수행하였다.
레디코리아 훈련은 안전한국훈련보다 더욱 확대되고 강화된 형태로, 지난해에는 행정안전부, 환경부, 고용노동부, 충청남도 등 35개 기관과 400여 명의 관계자가 참여하여 진행되었다.
