충남 태안군청 공직자들이 산불로 큰 피해를 입은 경북 지역 주민들을 위해 온기를 나눴다.
태안군은 3월 31일부터 이틀간 공직자들이 자발적으로 성금을 모아 총 1590만 원을 모금하고, 가세로 군수가 5일 경북 의성군청, 영양군청, 청송군청을 직접 찾아 성금 전달식을 가졌다.
이번 성금 모금에는 태안군 공직자 862명이 참여했으며, 모금된 기부금은 피해민 지원에 사용될 예정이다. 태안군은 성금 모금 외에도 4일부터 6일까지 청송군의 피해민을 위해 ‘사랑의 밥차’를 지원하는 등 다양한 노력을 기울였다.
사랑의 밥차 지원에는 태안군 및 자원봉사자 20명이 참여해, 3일간 청송국민체육센터에서 약 300명의 이재민에게 총 8차례 식사를 제공했다. 가세로 군수는 현장을 찾아 자원봉사자들을 격려하고 주민들을 위로했다.
가세로 군수는 “이번 성금 모금 및 사랑의 밥차 지원은 태안군이 국민들의 사랑을 되돌려드리기 위한 작은 노력”이라며, “피해지역 주민들의 빠른 일상 회복을 기원한다”고 말했다. 태안군의 따뜻한 나눔이 피해 주민들에게 큰 힘이 될 것으로 기대된다.
