브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 권성동 국민의힘 원내대표는 9일 제21대 대통령선거와 관련 "다가오는 대선은 마땅히 이재명 세력을 심판하는 선거가 돼야 한다"고 밝혔다.
권성동 원내대표는 이날 국회에서 현안 관련 기자간담회에서 "지난 4월 4일 윤석열 대통령은 헌법재판소로부터 법적으로 심판을 받았다. 이제는 민주당 이재명 세력이 국민으로부터 심판받을 차례"라며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "이재명 세력이야말로 헌정질서 파괴의 주범이자 국가의 내전을 촉발시켜 온 국정 위기 유발 집단"이라며 "그 우두머리가 바로 이재명 대표"라고 주장했다.
이어 "헌정질서 파괴와 국정 혼란을 도모했던 유일한 목적이 '민주당의 아버지' 이재명의 방탄이었다"며 "12개 사건 범죄 혐의자 이재명의 형이 확정되기 이전에 국정을 파탄으로 내몰아서 조기 대선으로 국가권력을 차지하겠다는 정략적 음모 때문이었다"고 했다.
그는 또한 "윤석열 대통령의 퇴장과 함께 이재명 대표가 정치 무대에서 동시에 사라지는 것이 시대의 명령"이라며 "지금 이재명 세력은 입만 열면 내란 종식을 외치고 있다. 그 내란 종식은 이재명 세력의 퇴장으로 비로소 완성된다는 사실을 분명하게 말씀드린다"고 했다.
또한 권 원내대표는 이날 김문수 전 고용노동부 장관과 면담하는 자리에서도 "이번 대선의 시대정신은 국가 정상화"라며 "대통령은 이미 탄핵 결정으로 모든 법적 책임을 졌다. 온갖 그런 입법권과 입법권 남용, 탄핵소추 남용 등등으로 국민으로부터 위임받은 입법권을 모독하고 훼손한 이재명 세력이 국민들로부터 정치적 심판을 받아야 되는 선거가 바로 이번 대선이다"라고 강조하기도 했다.

On this day, at a press conference on current issues at the National Assembly, floor leader Kwon Seong-dong said, "On April 4, President Yoon Seok-yeol was legally judged by the Constitutional Court. Now, it is the turn of the Democratic Party's Lee Jae-myung forces to be judged by the people."
He claimed, "The Lee Jae-myung forces are the main culprits of the destruction of the constitutional order and the group that has triggered a national crisis by triggering a civil war," and "The leader is none other than Representative Lee Jae-myung."
He continued, "The sole purpose of destroying the constitutional order and causing chaos in state affairs was to protect 'the father of the Democratic Party' Lee Jae-myung," and "It was a strategic conspiracy to drive the state affairs into ruin and seize state power through an early presidential election before Lee Jae-myung's sentence for 12 criminal cases was confirmed."
He also said, "With the departure of President Yoon Seok-yeol, it is the order of the times for Representative Lee Jae-myung to simultaneously disappear from the political stage," and "Lee Jae-myung's forces are shouting for an end to the civil war whenever they open their mouths. I will clearly state that the end of the civil war will be completed only with the departure of Lee Jae-myung's forces."
Furthermore, during a meeting with former Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Moon-soo that day, Floor Leader Kwon also emphasized, "The spirit of the times in this presidential election is the normalization of the country," and "The president has already assumed all legal responsibility with the impeachment decision. This is the election in which the Lee Jae-myung faction, which has insulted and damaged the legislative power entrusted to them by the people through all kinds of legislative power, abuse of legislative power, abuse of impeachment, etc., must receive political judgment from the people."
