브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 한동훈 전 국민의힘 대표는 10일 제21대 대통령선거 출마를 공식 선언했다.
한동훈 전 대표는 이날 국회 본관 분수대 앞에서 "국민의 선거로 이재명 민주당을 이길 것"이라며 출마를 공식화했다.
그는 "국정의 한 축인 여당을 이끌었던 사람으로서 국민께 진심으로 사과드린다"며 "오직 서로를 물어뜯고 상대를 쓰러뜨리려는 정치가 온 국민을 갈등과 분열로 몰아넣었다. 그 과정에서 벌어진 비상계엄과 30번의 탄핵은 헌정 질서를 무너뜨리고 '우리 나라가 이런 나라였나' 할 정도로 국민의 자존심에 크나큰 상처를 냈다"고 밝혔다.
이어 "헌법재판소가 지적한 것처럼 30번의 탄핵소추와 일방적 법안 처리를 남발한 이재명 민주당의 책임도 굉장히 크다"고 비판했다.
한 전 대표는 보수진영을 향해선 "비상계엄으로부터 자유로울 수 있는 사람, 겁이 나서 숲에 숨은 이재명 대표보다 제일 먼저 국회로 향하고, 제일 먼저 국민과 함께 막았다고 한 사람, 저 한동훈이 맞서야 한다. 그러면 이길 수 있다"라며 "그 나물에 그 밥처럼 사람만 바꾸며 적대적 공생을 해온 구시대 정치를 끝장내겠다. 국민이 아니라 정치인만 좋은 지금의 정치를 깨부수겠다"고 주장했다.

한 전 대표는 또한 개헌 필요성을 언급하며 자신이 당선된다면 4년 중임의 분권형 대통령제 및 비례대표를 없앤 양원제를 약속했다.
그는 "대통령의 권력남용 가능성 뿐 아니라 민주당 같은 다수의 횡포도 개혁하겠다"며 "상원은 중대선거구로 만들어 어느 한쪽이 지역주의에 기대 다 가져가지 못하게 하겠다"고 밝혔다.
