[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시미래인재장학재단은 10일 김해상공회의소 회의실에서 2025년 상반기 장학증서 수여식을 개최했다.
이날 수여식에는 노은식 재단 이사장, 홍태용 시장, 안선환 시의장, 에스비비(주) 이태형 대표, 초중고, 대학 장학생과 학부모 등 150여명이 참석했다.
재단은 그동안 각 학교로부터 장학생을 추천받아 1차 서류심사, 2차 선발심의를 거쳐 최종 740명을 선발, 올해 총 10억2,300만원의 장학금을 지원한다.
장학금은 총 9개 분야로 ▲지역대학입학 ▲지역전략산업 인재양성 ▲지역전략산업연계 취업 ▲예·체능 꿈나무 ▲성적 우수 ▲기업체 근로자 자녀 ▲다자녀 가정 ▲성적 향상 ▲특별 장학금 등이다.
수여식은 경운초등학교 윈드오케스트라의 클라리넷 공연을 시작으로 분야별 장학생 대표 110여명에게 장학증서를 수여하고 장학생, 학부모들의 감사 인사와 장래 포부를 밝히는 순서로 진행됐다.
특히 수년간 꾸준히 장학금을 지원하고 있는 에스비비(주) 이태형 대표가 기탁자 대표로 참석해 꿈을 향해 나아가는 장학생들의 발걸음을 응원했다.
노은식 이사장은 “이번 수여식이 각자 목표에 대한 동기 부여가 되었으면 한다” 며 “지역의 대표 장학재단으로 더 많은 학생들이 꿈을 이룰 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
홍태용 시장은 “올해 선발된 장학생들과 학부모님의 큰 열정과 노력에 축하를 드린다"며 “장학재단과 함께 다양한 맞춤형 장학사업을 지속적으로 마련해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
