김해시는 가야문화축제와 연계한 제16회 김해식품박람회가 지난 10일부터 13일까지 4일간 대성동고분박물관 가야의거리 일원에서 성황리에 진행됐다고 15일 밝혔다.
김해식품박람회는 식품 안전사고 예방과 국민 건강 증진을 목표로 제정한 식품안전의 날(5월 14일)을 기념하기 위해 지난 2005년에 시작돼 올해 16회째를 맞았다. 올해는 관내 34개 식품관련업체가 참여해 대표 제품을 전시하고 무료 시식, 판촉 이벤트를 진행해 많은 시민들이 방문했다.
특히 10개 유관기관에서 음식문화 개선, 식중독 예방, 치매 걱정 없는 김해를 위한 치매 극복 홍보, 정신건강, 금연, 건강생활 실천 등 건강한 음식문화와 올바른 건강정보를 배우고 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공했다.

간담회는 복지관 건립 추진사항과 향후 계획 등을 공유한 데 이어 지난 3월 건축설계 공모에서 당선된 설계(안)에 대한 설명을 듣고 현장 전문가들의 질의와 의견을 수렴하는 순으로 진행됐다.
