대전특수교육원, ‘행복 나눔 음악회’ 성료

대전특수교육원은 15일 국립중앙과학관 사이언스홀에서 초·중·고 특수학급 및 특수학교 학생과 교직원 600여 명이 함께한 가운데 ‘2025 제26회 행복 나눔 음악회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 음악회는 장애학생들이 음악을 통해 감성을 키우고 예술적 재능을 펼칠 수 있는 기회를 제공하고자 마련됐다. 국립중앙과학관과의 협력 아래 다채로운 프로그램으로 구성된 본 행사는, 학생과 교직원 모두가 음악으로 하나 되는 뜻깊은 시간을 만들었다.

행사 준비를 맡은 진창희 대표는 “십수 년간 장애학생을 위한 공연을 기획하며 꾸준히 국립중앙과학관과 협업해왔다”며, 이번 무대 역시 “모든 이가 쉽게 공감할 수 있도록 음악과 영상을 조화롭게 구성했다”고 전했다.

공연은 세 팀의 무대로 꾸며져 풍성한 감동을 선사했다. 먼저, 전국의 초·중·고 학생들로 구성된 코리아주니어빅밴드가 활기찬 연주로 무대를 열었고, 이어 중저음의 목소리가 인상적인 크로스오버 남성 4중창단이 깊은 울림을 전했다. 마지막으로, 차이콥스키와 생상의 명곡을 연주한 미래심포니오케스트라는 섬세한 연주로 무대를 장식했다.

공연을 관람한 대전가원학교의 한 학생은 “이번 음악회를 통해 좋은 음악을 들을 수 있었을 뿐만 아니라, 마음까지 편안해지는 느낌이었다”며, “특히 학생들로만 구성된 코리아 주니어 빅밴드의 공연이 가장 인상 깊었다”고 소감을 밝혔다.

음악회를 보러 온 대전맹학교 초등 6학년 학생 또한, 본지와의 인터뷰에서 "아름다운 악기 소리와 목소리를 들으니, 마음이 따뜻해지는 느낌이 들었다"면서, "음악 감상 뿐만 아니라 함께 음악 공연에 참여하는 활동도 해보고 싶다"는 뜻을 전했다. 

권순오 대전특수교육원 원장은 “이번 음악회가 장애학생들의 예술적 감성을 키우고, 새로운 꿈을 품는 계기가 되었기를 바란다”며, “앞으로도 장애학생들의 음악적 소질 향상 및 문화예술의 다양한 지원을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 대전특수교육원은 앞으로도 지역 내 다양한 문화예술 기관과 협력해, 특수교육대상 학생들이 보다 풍성한 예술 경험을 누릴 수 있는 장을 마련해 나갈 계획이다.
