세종시교육청 학교지원본부가 4월 15일 국토연구원에서 ‘국책연구기관 연계 늘봄프로그램’에 참여 중인 연구진을 대상으로 초등 저학년 이해 연수를 실시했다고 15일 밝혔다.
이번 연수는 연구기관의 전문성을 교육 현장에 효과적으로 접목하기 위한 사전 준비 과정으로, 초등 1~2학년 아동의 발달 특성과 교육적 접근 방식에 대한 이해를 높이는 데 중점을 뒀다.
강의는 한국교원대학교 김상한 교수가 맡아, 저학년 아동의 행동 특성과 효과적인 교수 전략에 대해 실질적인 노하우를 전달했다.
학교지원본부는 2023년 12월, 국토연구원 등 6개 국책연구기관과 업무협약을 체결하고 방학 중 운영될 ‘모듈형 늘봄프로그램’ 개발에 착수한 바 있다. 이번 연수는 그 후속 절차로, 프로그램 기획·운영에 참여하는 연구진의 교육적 이해도와 실무 역량을 높이기 위해 마련됐다.
특히 이번 프로그램은 세종시 초등 교사들과 연구기관 연구진이 함께 개발에 참여해, 지역 아동의 눈높이에 맞춘 맞춤형 콘텐츠로 구성되고 있다.
학교 현장에서는 이러한 모듈형 프로그램을 통해 방학 중에도 학생들의 지속적인 배움을 유도하고, 학부모의 돌봄 부담도 덜 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
세종시교육청은 앞으로도 늘봄프로그램의 질적 내실을 다지기 위해 교육 현장의 수요를 반영하고, 학부모와 학생 모두가 만족할 수 있는 교육 모델을 꾸준히 구축해 나갈 방침이다.

The Sejong City Office of Education School Support Headquarters announced on the 15th that it conducted an elementary school lower grades understanding training for researchers participating in the ‘National Research Institute Linked Nulbom Program’ at the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements on April 15th.
