브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 신동욱 국민의힘 수석대변인은 17일 "민주당의 ‘보복 정치 설계도’가 공개됐다. 방첩사 해체, 검찰 해체, 감사원 무력화. ‘이재명표 칼춤’이 시작됐다"고 말했다.
신동욱 수석대변인은 이날 논평을 통해 "보도에 따르면 민주당이 집권하면 국군방첩사령부를 사실상 해체하고, 검찰은 공소청으로 격하하며, 감사원은 국회가 통제할 수 있도록 하겠다는 계획을 추진 중이라고 한다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
그는 "민주당은 대선 공약은 아니라는 입장이지만, 위험천만한 아이디어가 당내에서 나온 것만 해도 경악할 만한 일 아니냐"면서 "‘권력기관 개혁’이라는 미명 아래 벌어지는 이 '전면적 판갈이'는, 결국 정권 견제를 불가능하게 만들고, 충성기관만 남기겠다는 ‘권력 사유화’ 선언이다"고 지적했다.
이어 "방첩사는 간첩 색출과 군 내부 보안을 책임지는 핵심 조직이다. 이 기능을 조각내 분산시키겠다는 것은, 안보 체계를 붕괴시키겠다는 위험천만한 시도"라며 "검찰에 대해서는 더 노골적이다. 수사청과 공소청으로 나눠, 이재명을 수사한 검찰 조직을 완전히 분해하겠다는 발상이다. 그야말로 '정치 보복의 완성판'이다"고 주장했다.
그는 또한 "감사원은 또 어떻냐. ‘정치 감사’라는 딱지를 붙이고, 국회 승인을 받아야만 감사를 허용하겠다는 것은 사실상 자신들 입맛대로 옥죄겠다는 것이다"고 말했다.
반면 "공수처에 대해선 강화하겠다고 한다"라며 "이미 ‘민주당 하청기관’으로 전락한 공수처를, 수사력도 독립성도 검증 없이 더 키우겠다는 것은 정권 보위용 도구를 더 정교하게 세팅하겠다는 것과 다르지 않다"고 꼬집었다.
신 수석대변인은 "이 모든 흐름은 결국 한 곳을 향하고 있다. 이재명 일극체제에 복종하는 충성기관만 남기겠다는 것"이라며 "민주당은 보복 정치의 끝은 결국 파국임을 명심해야 한다. 국민이 두렵지도 않냐"고 지적했다.
그러면서 "국민의힘은 정의와 상식, 통합과 책임의 정치로 이재명식 독주에 맞서겠다. 헌정이 바로 서는 대한민국을 반드시 지켜내겠다"고 덧붙였다.
