충남 공주시(시장 최원철)는 지역 내 다문화가정 자녀들의 학업 지속과 진로 탐색을 돕기 위해 학생 1인당 최대 60만 원까지 교육활동비를 지원한다고 23일 밝혔다.
지원 대상은 공주시에 주소를 두고 있으며 기준 중위소득 100% 이하에 해당하지만 교육급여 혜택은 받지 않는 다문화가족 자녀들이다. 정규 교육과정에 속해 있지 않은 경우에도 신청 가능하다.
접수는 총 두 차례에 걸쳐 진행된다. 1차 접수는 5월 2일부터 5월 30일까지, 2차 접수는 7월 1일부터 7월 31일까지이며, 신청은 공주시가족센터를 직접 방문해 접수해야 한다.
지급 금액은 학년에 따라 차등 적용되며, 초등학생은 연 40만 원, 중학생은 50만 원, 고등학생은 60만 원까지 지원받을 수 있다. 해당 금액은 NH농협카드 포인트 형태로 제공되며, ▲교재 구매 ▲독서실 이용 ▲진로 관련 도구 ▲자격증 취득 등 교육 목적에 한해 오는 11월 30일까지 사용할 수 있다.
