24일 전북특별자치도 소방본부에 따르면 전날 소방 공무원을 사칭한 일당은 고창 2곳과 김제 1곳 등 총 3곳의 음식점에 전화를 걸어 음식 포장을 예약한 뒤 연락 없이 나타나지 않는 이른바 '노쇼(No-show)' 방식의 사기 행위가 발생했다.
이들은 "신임 소방대원 교육 후 먹을 저녁 식사를 포장해 가겠다"고 주문하는 수법을 이용했다.
특히 문자로 "▲ 음료수를 추가하고 싶다 ▲ 소방본부 재정 상태가 어려워 물품을 대신 구매해달라"고 요구했다.
