【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=울진군의회(의장 김정희)는 4월 24일부터 30일까지 7일간 일정으로 제284회 임시회를 개회하고 본격적인 의정 활동에 돌입했다.

임시회 제1차 본회의에 앞서 열린 5분 자유발언에서는 의원들의 다양한 정책 제안이 눈에 띄었다.
임동인 부의장은 집행기관과 군의회의 소통·협력·협치 강화를 강조했고, 임승필 의원은 울진학사 및 부경대 행복기숙사 입사생에게만 국한된 주거비 지원을 울진군 출신 전체 대학생으로 확대할 것을 요구했다.
황현철 의원은 전 연령층 대상 독감 예방접종 지원을 울진군에 주문했다.
이날 본회의에서는 김복남 의원이 대표 발의한 '울진군 화재피해주민 지원 조례안' , 2025년도 제1회 추가경정예산안을 포함한 총 15건의 안건이 상정됐다. 모든 안건은 오는 4월 30일 제2차 본회의에서 최종 심의·의결될 예정이다.
이번 2025년도 제1회 추가경정예산안은 본예산보다 984억 400만 원 증액된 총 7,552억 2,800만 원 규모다. 해당 예산안은 4월 24일부터 29일까지 예산결산특별위원회(위원장 황현철)에서 면밀히 심의될 예정이다.
김정희 의장은 개회사에서 “의원 여러분께서는 모든 예산과 안건이 군민 복리 증진에 기여할 수 있도록 세심하게 검토해주시기 바라며, 공직자 여러분도 충실한 자료 제공과 성실한 답변으로 임시회가 원활히 진행되도록 협조해 달라”고 당부했다.
울진군의회는 이번 임시회를 통해 군민 삶의 질 향상과 지역 현안 해결을 위한 실질적인 해법을 마련할 계획이다.

This first supplementary budget for 2025 is 755.228 billion won, an increase of 98.44 billion won from the original budget. The budget will be closely reviewed by the Budget and Settlement Special Committee (Chairman Hwang Hyeon-cheol) from April 24 to 29.
In his opening remarks, Chairman Kim Jeong-hee said, “I ask all members of the council to carefully review all budgets and agenda items so that they can contribute to the welfare of the county residents, and I also ask public officials to cooperate so that the extraordinary session can proceed smoothly by providing faithful data and sincere answers.”
Uljin County Council plans to devise practical solutions to improve the quality of life of the county residents and resolve local issues through this extraordinary session.
