김해시농업기술센터는 조만강 생태체육공원 일원에 조성한 30,000㎡ 규모의 드넓은 청보리밭에서 소소한 웃음과 해학, 충만한 레트로 감성을 선사하기 위하여 탐방객 맞을 준비에 박차를 가하고 있다고 28일 밝혔다.
올해는 특히 허수아비 의상을 우리나라를 포함한 일본, 중국, 아랍 등 각국의 전통복장으로 컨셉하여 색다른 분위기를 연출하며, 일부 허수아비는 김해시민이 직접 제작에 참여한 것으로 시민과 함께 만드는 행사로 거듭나고자 노력하고 있다. 그 외 다양한 조형물을 활용한 인생 포토존과 사색존(일명 멍때리는존) 보리밭사잇길, 알록달록 초화길 등을 조성하여 5월 하순까지 개방, 운영한다.
