충남 계룡시문화관광재단은 계룡병영체험관이 여성가족부 산하 한국청소년활동진흥원으로부터 ‘청소년 수련활동 프로그램 인증기관’ 승인을 받았다고 28일 밝혔다.
청소년수련활동 인증제는 청소년활동진흥법 제35조에 따라 마련된 제도로, 국가가 청소년 대상 수련활동의 안전성과 유익성을 심사해 인증하는 제도다.
계룡병영체험관은 지난해 3월 문을 연 후, 청소년 군(軍) 체험 프로그램인 ‘계룡밀리터리 아카데미-어서와, 군대는 처음이지?’를 운영해왔다. 해당 프로그램은 청소년의 안보의식 강화와 협동심 배양에 효과가 있다는 평가를 받으며, 전국 군(軍) 특성화고와 청소년 단체의 많은 관심을 끌고 있다.
재단은 여성가족부, 한국청소년활동진흥원과 협의를 거쳐 프로그램의 추진 배경과 운영 계획 등 12개 분야, 132개 항목을 제출했다. 이후 서류 심사와 현장 평가를 통과해 인증기관으로 지정됐다.
이응우 계룡시장은 “병영체험관이 청소년 수련활동 프로그램 국가 인증을 받게 돼 의미가 크다”며 “전국 청소년들에게 차별화된 직업·진로 체험의 기회를 제공하겠다”고 말했다. 이어 “철저한 안전관리를 통해 신뢰받는 프로그램을 운영하겠다”고 덧붙였다.
밀리터리 아카데미 참여 학생들은 여성가족부 누리집에서 장관 직인이 찍힌 수료증을 발급받을 수 있다.

Students who participate in the Military Academy can receive a certificate of completion with the Minister’s seal on the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family website.
