이번 야시장은 코로나19 이후 침체된 지역 상권에 활력을 불어넣고, 도심 내 새로운 야간 명소를 조성하기 위해 마련됐다. 행사 기간 동안 매주 금·토요일 오후 6시부터 11시까지 총 10회에 걸쳐 운영되며, 먹거리 부스 9곳과 플리마켓 부스 10곳 등 총 19개의 매대가 설치된다.
시는 단순한 판매 부스를 넘어 다양한 주제의 체험형 콘텐츠를 구성해 시민과 관광객 모두가 즐길 수 있는 공간을 마련했다. 각 주차별 프로그램은 다음과 같다.
▲1주차(5월 24일)에는 인기 캐릭터 ‘캐치! 티니핑’ 팝업스토어 및 퍼레이드가 열리고, ▲2주차(5월 910일)에는 중심상가 봄소풍 콘셉트로 보물찾기와 우드놀이터가 운영된다.
