[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 지난달 30일, 근로자의 날(5월 1일)을 앞두고 생활폐기물 수집운반 대행업체인 희봉위생공사(대표 강택섭) 주관으로 환경미화원 격려 행사를 개최했다.
이날 행사에는 권해도 안전건설국장, 이재운 거창군의회 의장을 비롯한 군의원들이 참석해, 환경미화원 60여 명과 소통하며 그간의 노고에 감사를 표했다.
군은 투철한 사명감으로 깨끗한 도시 환경 조성에 기여한 환경미화원 2명에게 군수 표창패를 수여했다.
수상자인 문필호 씨는 “어제의 거리를 치우고, 오늘의 거리를 준비한다는 마음으로 하루하루 임해왔다”라며 “주민들이 깨끗한 환경에서 생활할 수 있도록 앞으로도 책임감 있게 일하겠다”라 소감을 밝혔다.
