【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=동국대학교 WISE캠퍼스 대학일자리플러스센터(센터장 하성)가 4월 30일부터 5월 1일까지 이틀간 교내 용맹로 야외부스에서 ‘2025 WISE Dongguk 진로·직무박람회: 선배이즈백’을 성황리에 개최했다.

이번 박람회는 재학생들의 진로 탐색과 취업 역량 강화를 위한 맞춤형 프로그램으로, 총 45명의 졸업 동문이 멘토로 참여해 실질적이고 현실적인 1:1 진로 상담을 진행했다. 참여 멘토들은 인사·총무, 기획, 데이터분석, 교육 등 다양한 분야에서 활동 중인 현직자들로, 생생한 직무 경험과 취업 노하우를 아낌없이 공유했다.
특히 이번 박람회는 단순한 정보 제공을 넘어 학생 개인의 경력개발을 위한 상담과 진로 설정을 돕는 다양한 프로그램이 병행됐다. 학습 전략, 국제교류, 어학연수 등과 관련된 부스도 함께 운영돼 학생들의 폭넓은 관심을 끌었다. 외국인 유학생들을 위한 맞춤형 진로·취업 상담도 마련되어, 유학생들의 국내 정착을 위한 실질적 지원도 이루어졌다.
행사에 참여한 컴퓨터공학과 김동규 학생은 “선배들과 직접 대화를 나누며 현장의 목소리를 들을 수 있어 진로 설정에 큰 도움이 됐다”며 “이런 실질적인 체험형 박람회가 더 많아졌으면 한다”고 소감을 밝혔다.
하성 대학일자리플러스센터장은 “다양한 산업에서 활약 중인 동문들과의 협력을 통해 실질적인 직무 경험을 제공하는 데 주력하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 학생들이 변화하는 취업 환경에 능동적으로 대응할 수 있도록 프로그램을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
